This waiting period allows the adhesive tape to set properly & ensures a strong bond, preventing premature slippage or lifting of the extensions.

Use sulfate-free, oil free, clarifying shampoos
Sulfates and harsh chemicals can weaken the adhesive tape and dry out both your natural hair & extensions, reducing their lifespan & shine.

Avoid applying conditioner or oils near the roots
When conditioning, focus on the mid-lengths & ends of your hair. Avoid the roots & tape areas.

Brush roots gently with a soft-bristle brush
Always brush your hair starting from the ends, gradually working up to the roots to avoid pulling on the tape bonds & causing damage or slippage.

Avoid heat styling directly on the tape bonds
Heat tools like straighteners or curling irons should never be applied directly on the tape bonds. High temperatures can melt or weaken the adhesive, causing the extensions to loosen or fall out.

Protect your hair from prolonged sun exposure
Extended exposure to direct sunlight can weaken the adhesive tape. To protect your hair, wear a hat or use UV protection sprays designed for hair when spending long periods outdoors.

Be cautious when blow-drying your hair
When blow-drying, avoid directing high heat directly onto the tape bonds as it can weaken the adhesive. Keep the dryer moving constantly. For best results, dry your hair from roots to ends gently, using a heat protectant spray to safeguard both your natural hair & extensions.

Use hair masks carefully and avoid the tape area
Hair masks are great for nourishing your hair, but avoid applying them directly on the tape bonds. Applying masks too close to the adhesive can weaken it, causing the extensions to slip or fall out prematurely.

Use anti-frizz products & serums sparingly
While anti-frizz sprays and hair serums can help keep your hair smooth & shiny, avoid applying these products directly on or near the tape bonds. Many contain oils or silicones that can break down the adhesive, weakening the hold of your extensions.

Do not dye your hair once extensions are installed
Avoid coloring or bleaching your hair while the extensions applied. If you plan to change your hair color, do so before installation.
